No offense to past me, but every time I accidentally re-discovered my deviantart page, I could feel my soul leaving my mortal body, so I guess that means it's time for a bio change? 😅
First off, I would like to point out that I've been on this website for eight years, which is revolutionary considering all of the genuinely talented people on this site that have only been here for like ten seconds. Eight years... How am I so old and so unaccomplished on this site? Maybe tumblr really is a void that sucks you in and slowly drains you of all artistic productivity... Or is that college? Either way, I don't have much to show for between 2012 and today, and I suppose that's not too likely to change seeing as I don't post much in the way of art (I'm only any good at pen/pencil/paint, which doesn't add up to nice-looking art posts when your best camera is on your phone, haha...). Maybe in another eight years I can look back and say "Geez, this butthead wasn't a very productive member of the deviantart community, huh?"
Fun and Trendy Updates!
In the years since I have written anything on here, I have discovered the joys of bisexuality, Mothman, mild college shenanigans, having a Steam account, small rat figurines which you can paint and fight people with, and meeting the love of my life (only to later find out that a bag of rotten orange peels with political power won't allow me to leave the country to be with said love of my life in Europe - a fact that, with any luck, I will be able to forget by the next time I read this). I finally have a fancy science college degree and a job that allows me to pay other creators for things, which makes me pretty darn happy! My cats Mira and Jack-Jack are still causing a rumpus back at home, and I currently live in a place multicultural enough for me to enjoy Thai food, so life is alright. Hopefully by the next time I resurface, I'll have a cat of my own in an apartment I'll be sharing with the love of my life (see above), and life will be even better 💕
Until then, to anyone who happens to stumble into a wormhole and come out on this goofy little page, keep creating, do what makes you happy, and remember that there will always be some pretty cool things in your future, even if you don't know it just yet ❤
